Graduate Diversity at Smeal

The Penn State Smeal Office of Diversity Enhancement Programs helps students to leverage the resources and personal focus of a distinctive learning community. We work with incoming, current, and international students to enrich their academic experience, while connecting corporate partners to potential recruits.

The Smeal graduate student population is rich in diversity and is represented by men and women from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, as well as members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community and the military. Today’s business world is diverse in thought, action, and philosophy, so it is important for the college to create an inclusive environment, where all students can be accepted.
